Pricing FAQs

What do laminate and clearcoat include?

Standard laminate adds $52 per 48 × 96 sheet, per printed side. Clearcoat adds $40 on the same basis. The charge includes the finish material, application and trimming or finishing work. Selecting a finish applies it to the printed face; double-sided ACM and PVC include both printed faces at twice the one-side finishing charge. Acrylic is charged for one printed face.

Finishing is charged for each sheet used, including untrimmed stock. It is not prorated when the acrylic print price uses partial-area billing. Specialty films, specified coatings or custom finishing requirements receive a project quote. Material suitability and application details are checked before production.

How is custom paint priced?

Paint uses a setup charge per color and sheen, painted area, piece handling and a batch minimum. Extra preparation, masking and specified systems are quoted to scope. Standard painted PVC letters and HDU already include their published finish. See paint rates and estimate a flat panel or backer →

How are holes priced?

Standard hole drilling is included at no extra charge.

Supply hole diameters and center-to-edge offsets or a dimensioned drawing. Corner patterns, custom diameters and standoff-ready drilling are available; hardware fit is confirmed before cutting.

How do sheet billing and job grouping work?

ACM, PVC and other listed sheet-priced materials use full-sheet billing. Standard 3/16-inch clear acrylic has the partial-area exception below. Compatible artwork can share a billed sheet when material, thickness, print sides, finish and other production requirements match. Standard calculator pricing covers one destination; multiple destinations receive a project quote.

How is 3/16-inch clear acrylic billed?

In Piece Sizes & Quantities mode, every complete layout is $395. Remaining pieces are billed by entered width × height × quantity × $0.09 per square inch, capped at $395 for the partial-sheet base charge. Full Sheet mode bills complete sheets. Other thicknesses retain their listed sheet prices. Mixed-size 3/16-inch clear acrylic receives a layout quote.

White ink, protective finishing, dense-part handling and shipping are additional. Thickness labels are nominal; stock gauges appear on the material buttons. Specified brands or exact gauges may require a separate quote.

Is there a minimum piece size or order charge?

There is no preset minimum finished-piece size when the part can be produced safely and accurately. Material billing rules still apply: one 4 × 4-inch ACM or PVC piece is billed as a full sheet. Small-piece capability does not mean there is no minimum billed material. Intricate shapes, narrow parts and unusually dense runs may require a production quote.

What does the artwork proof show?

The PDF shows individual sign artwork, calculated finished sizes and quantities first, followed by sheet layouts. The sheet-image download shows the currently displayed sheet. JPG and PNG artwork can be pictured; other file types need separate review. Proofs omit prices and supplier branding so you can share them with your customer.

Use the full-screen workspace to upload and assign files. Tap assigned artwork to fit, fill, rotate or reposition it. These review images do not replace production approval, verified contour paths or hole-location drawings.
