Painted PVC letter pricing.
Enter the copy, letter height, thickness and number of identical sets. Faces and edges painted with PPG BREAK-THROUGH! interior/exterior acrylic, standard stud mounting preparation and a full-size paper pattern are included in the published letter price.
Build the letter set
Price standard painted PVC letters from 3–36 inches high. Letters from 3–4 inches use the $4.00 rate at every listed thickness; taller letters use the selected thickness rate. The order minimum is $150. Other sizes, logos, layered construction and specialty templates are quoted separately.
Calculation: characters × letter height × rate × identical sets, with a $150 minimum. Letters, numbers, & and @ are charged; spaces and ordinary punctuation are excluded. Supply vector artwork for the final typeface and shape. Unusually wide, connected or intricate forms require artwork review.

Technical guidePattern clearance / revealOPEN GUIDE
The pattern opening does not have to hug the finished letter. If paper or adhesive material is cut too tightly, the installer can lose the positioning reference when opening it to seat the letter. With thicker letters, a tight opening can also trap the pattern behind the installed part.

What drives itLetter thickness, pattern type, mounting method and how the installer intends to remove the pattern.
Terminology: this is clearance around the letter in the installation pattern or template. It is not the wall standoff or mounting projection behind the letter.
Color and finish specification
Provide a Pantone/PMS, RAL or manufacturer paint code, sheen and face/edge requirements. Physical-swatch matching is available by separate agreement. Include indoor or outdoor use in your specifications.
Production date and replacement characters
Standard calculator orders follow the two-business-day production schedule. Custom construction and specialty finishes receive a ship date with the quote. Replacement characters are available; minimum charges are stated before acceptance.
