Standard acrylic paint on flat PVC or acrylic components: $200 setup per color and sheen, $18 per painted square foot, and $7 handling per piece. Minimum $275 per color / sheen batch. Black or white uses the standard rate; other colors receive a quote. Custom code matching starts at $150 per color, plus any special paint purchase or sample requirement.
Painted area includes each coated face and the edges. Standard preparation is included. Repairs, extra sanding, masking, additional colors and specified coating systems are quoted for the work required. Material, cutting, assembly, packing, shipping and tax are separate unless included in your finished-product quote.

What your paint quote will confirm
Substrate and thickness; dimensions and quantity; painted faces and edges; coating system, color and sheen; indoor / outdoor exposure and cleaning requirements; masking and preparation; mounting and assembly; approved sample requirements; packing and your labels; price, exclusions and production date.
Standard painted PVC letters and standard painted HDU already include their published finish. Their paint is not charged again. Branded sample kits use shared production batches when available; custom colors or finishes are quoted separately. Standard printed-panel clearcoat remains $40 per sheet per printed side; clear over custom paint is a separate specified finish.
Interior & exterior paint systems.
Our standard paint is PPG BREAK-THROUGH! interior/exterior acrylic. We use Matthews coatings when required by architectural drawings. Include the specified coating, color, sheen and intended exposure with your project.
Lamination and clearcoat: go beyond the bare print.
Protective film laminate and liquid clearcoat are available for exterior and high-touch sign applications. In hotels, airports, healthcare, schools and other high-traffic facilities, a GC/project specification may call for added abrasion and scuff resistance, resistance to specified cleaning chemicals, or an extra protective layer against graffiti and casual vandalism. The finish is not "vandal-proof"; we select the film or coating for the substrate, print system, exposure, cleaning protocol and required sheen.
Standard laminate adds $52 per 48 × 96 sheet, per printed side; standard clearcoat adds $40 on the same basis. These optional charges include finish material, application and trimming or finishing work. They are added to print-and-cut pricing. See finishing prices and billing details →
Specialty films, specified coatings and custom finishing requirements receive a project quote identifying the product, application cost, care requirements and schedule. A named product is not substituted without approval. Finished samples and any durability or warranty terms are confirmed for the selected system and intended environment.

From exterior building identification and amenity signs to unit numbers and corridor wayfinding, we support the sign companies supplying apartment communities and residential portfolios. Specify the material and protective finish together, whether the priority is weather exposure, frequent contact, scuff resistance or routine cleaning.
Tell us where each sign will be installed, how it will be cleaned and whether the property requires a named film, coating or finish. We confirm a compatible production system. Standard laminate and clearcoat use the published rates above; specialty protection is quoted to the specification. Coordinated replacements and phased property packages can be quoted with your project.

Provide a Pantone/PMS, RAL or manufacturer paint code with the RFQ. Physical-swatch matching is not part of the standard workflow and is handled only when specifically quoted.
Components sent for finishing
Customer-supplied raw sheet substrates are not accepted for standard print, cut or routing production. Pre-fabricated letters, panels and other components may be accepted for custom paint or finishing when the material, condition, finish specification and handling requirements are reviewed and quoted in advance.
Confirmed schedule
Painted and fabricated work receives a confirmed production date with the quote. It is not automatically included in the two-business-day standard lane.
