Braille translation & layout
Grade 2 (contracted) braille translation and Section 703.3 layout are handled as part of the production scope when required. Provide the message schedule; braille production should not become a separate translation task for the trade buyer.
Materials & construction options
Project configurations can include HPL / phenolic sign materials, acrylic, PVC, anodized aluminum accents, tactile components, raster braille and specified finish systems. The quote specifies the tactile construction and braille method for your sign family. Specialty constructions are quoted to the project requirements rather than forced into a standard product.
Quote, proof and approval
Large packages are typically priced by sign type and extended quantity so additions, deletions and change orders can be handled cleanly. The quote identifies materials, colors/finishes, sign types, quantities, mounting assumptions, inclusions, exclusions and the confirmed production schedule. Review the sign schedule and layout proof, including room names, numbers, tactile copy and braille, before approving production. Changes after approval are reviewed for price and schedule impact.
Color & finish matching
Provide a Pantone/PMS, RAL or manufacturer paint code when a project requires a specified color. Physical swatch matching is handled only as a custom/manual requirement when specifically agreed.
