Each gauge uses the same size break: finished signs under 216 square inches use the small-format rate; signs at 216 square inches or more use the standard-format rate. Full sheets use the standard-format rate. All three gauges use the same finishing charges and $100 made-to-order minimum.
Pricing and layout details
Every aluminum gauge uses the same 216-square-inch breakpoint. .040 prices at $0.14/sq. in. under 216 and $0.10 at 216+; .063 at $0.19 under 216 and $0.13 at 216+; .080 at $0.25 under 216 and $0.15 at 216+. Full untrimmed sheets use 4,608 square inches each: .040 is $460.80; .063 is $599.04; .080 is $691.20 before protection. Finishes are charged once per physical sheet used, including partial sheets. The $100 made-to-order minimum applies once to the combined aluminum job after the selected finish, before shipping, tax, rush or quoted extras. Paint is a separate fabrication service with its own pricing and minimums.
Exact entered dimensions are retained. Routed layouts allow 3/16-inch tool spacing and a half-inch sheet-edge allowance; rotation is allowed. Layouts are estimates and are reviewed with the production files. Up to 40 standard holes per sheet are included; additional drilling and more than 100 parts per sheet require a project quote. Custom shapes, double-sided work, specialty coatings and special packing require review. This price assumes production-ready files, standard packing and one destination.
