CONTRACT PRODUCTION

Your printer can be fine. Your cutter can still be the bottleneck.

Routing, knife cutting, dense small-part production and selected finishing for sign companies that already have the print, panel or component and need another production step completed.

BACKUP + OVERFLOW

Send the production step that is slowing the job down.

Contract cutting is designed for machine-down events, overloaded routers/cutters, awkward nests, short runs and work that is not worth interrupting your normal production flow to finish in-house.

Router cuttingACM, PVC, acrylic and other approved rigid materials.
Knife cuttingAppropriate PVC, corrugated plastic, magnet, foam and flexible sheet materials.
Dense small partsDoor plates, equipment IDs, inserts and nested components.
Selected finishingQuoted finishing/handling where the supplied component and scope are suitable.

Machine down? Same-day emergency cutting is quoted when capacity, material and process permit; timing is confirmed before acceptance.

How contract work is priced.

Simple customer-facing pricing stays easy to understand, but dense or complex work is not treated like a four-rectangle sheet. Pricing considers actual part count, geometry, tool changes, starts/stops and the handling that follows the cut.

UP TO 128 PARTS / SHEETStandard cutting lane
129–199 PARTS / SHEET+$50 handling tier
200–349 PARTS / SHEET+$75 handling tier
350–599 PARTS / SHEET+$125 handling tier
600+ / COMPLEXProject quote

Cut-time generators are advisory. Software estimates can vary substantially with geometry, acceleration, lead-ins, internal cuts and toolpath optimization, so an estimated machine time is not used as the sole pricing trigger.

Customer-supplied material: a specific exception.

Standard Signs All Day print production uses Signs All Day-supplied raw substrates. Contract cutting is different: partner-supplied printed or pre-produced panels/components may be accepted when the material, condition, file and cutting scope are approved in advance. Receiving instructions are provided with the accepted project.

Multiple jobs can share the same production run.

Compatible artwork may share billed sheets when the material, thickness, print/cut construction and destination are the same. One destination keeps the work in the standard SKU lane; multiple destinations move the order to project pricing.
